A Christmas show by Cirque du Soleil wouldn’t be complete without extra festive props. In 'Twas the Night Before..., we use 12,200 linear ft. of garland and 5,000 cubic ft. of artificial snow–that’s five large dump trucks!
There are 52 different costumes seen in the show (including 8 reindeer).
We used 125 different fabrics and materials in total, with 2,000 sequins per costume, and lots and lots of pompoms to make things extra festive.
Our Makeup and Hair team designed 13 different makeup concepts to create the colorful characters you see in 'Twas the Night Before...
Each night, our artists apply their own makeup using 11 to 24 different products and a total of 340 makeup brushes.
Our characters wear 10 wigs, 8 hats with reindeer antlers, and 22 beanies (which Canadians proudly call “tuques.”)
